A Rocha UK Eco Church Award​

The Eco Church Award is a free scheme run by A Rocha UK recognising and celebrating churches caring for God’s creation through their worship, buildings, land, community engagement and individual lifestyles. By completing an online survey churches can be considered for an ECO CHURCH AWARD at either Bronze, Silver or Gold level.

We were delighted to be awarded the Gold Eco Church Award in May 2023!

We are the 33rd church to receive the award in the country – and the first to be awarded to a church in the Diocese of Leeds.

We are very happy to share our experiences to encourage other churches to start or make progress on the Eco Church and Carbon Zero journey.
