Launch Events and Climate Sunday Services

Holy Trinity Skipton 2 May 2021

Our main project launch was held at Holy Trinity Skipton.  Representatives from each of the churches as well as members of the local community, were joined by the Bishop of Ripon the Rt Revd Dr Helen-Ann Hartley to celebrate the launch of the TCNCC project.

The Bishop preached about the impact of rising sea temperatures on low lying lands and urged everyone to aim, not just for a state of carbon neutral in our churches and lives, but to be carbon negative.

A video of the main parts of the service is here.

The order of service is here (click on the picture to open the ebook):

Information about the project was on display at the back of the church.
