Families and Children

Children are welcome at all our services, especially at All Age Worship. This takes place on the first Sunday of the month at 9.30am, with separate activities for children, lots of songs and an interactive talk, with music provided by a large band with players of all ages.  On the third Sunday of the month the 9.30am Communion Service has children's activities available, and on other Sundays parents are always welcome to take children into the bell tower where there is a selection of toys or to play in our carpeted area in the North aisle.

On Friday afternoons in term time (1.45am - 3.15am) pre-school children and their carers are welcome to try out Smiley Faces, our toddler praise group, where activities, toys, juice, biscuits, cups of tea, a Bible story and songs, and lots of chat are on offer.

Older children can try the Hot Chocolate Club, for Key Stage Two children (7-11), at Embsay Methodist Hall on Main Street, Fridays from 6.15 -7.30pm.
